I was born and raised in south Minneapolis and am still in love with the city and the people in it. After years of experimenting at home and then completing a year of school, I graduated from the Aveda Institute in August of 2017. Finding Curl Power Salon was such a miracle. The salon combines what I love to do along with my values and dreams for the industry perfectly. I chose to pursue a career in hair as an artist and to be able to provide that moment of care, change and self love. People are my passion and creating is my joy. When I'm asked why I chose to specialize in curls, I always say that the best result I can hope for is when someone feels more like themselves than when they came in. I want everyone to be able to see, work with, and love whatever hair they were born with. We all have this canvas for self expression that's already beautifully unique.
Outside of the salon, I love to spend my time walking, drawing, eating anything and everything, watching scary and funny movies, and hanging with friends. I like coke icees, fashion, conversation, music that makes me want to dance, music that makes me want to drive fast and yell, and music that makes me feel at peace.
