I grew up and lived in San Diego until I was 25. Lived briefly in Idaho and the Seattle area before landing in Stillwater, where I have been for the last 10 years. My hair journey started in middle school. I have been coloring my own hair as well as friends hair since that time. I thought about going to cosmetology school many times and finally after getting to stay at home with my two beautiful kids (who are now in middle school themselves) I finally was able to enroll! I graduated from Aveda in September of 2017 and completed the DevaCurl Level 2 in 2018.

I am so lucky and excited to be a part of the Curl Power Salon family. I had so many curly friends growing up who couldn’t find anyone that knew what to do with their hair. I knew if I was going to be a hair stylist, I wanted to be skilled at doing all textures of hair. I have always been crafty, but doing hair has let me tap into my creativity in what I find to be the most fulfilling way! I also love cooking, knitting, music, and soaking up the sunshine on the beach.
