I had a unique childhood in that I grew up splitting my time between South Minneapolis and small town Montana. I have absolutely loved growing up in Minneapolis and being around all of the amazing, unique people here. I have really enjoyed living in a place that has a large community for the arts and social justice, so much so that I even attended a high school that based itself on those two things. I graduated Aveda in 2018 and found my home at Curl Power! I'm currently living in Uptown with my two beautiful Huskies.

Ever since starting my career as a stylist, I made it a priority to find a place that would put an emphasis on waves, curls and coils. As a curly person who didn’t step foot in a salon for 6 years out of fear, I wanted to do all I could do to assure others there is a place in the hair world for their natural loops. When I am away from the salon, I am likely dog sledding, knitting or skate boarding, coloring my own hair (yes!), or hanging in a haunted house.
